We love hearing from our visitors! Here’s what people have been saying about their time at Woodside Farm. Whether you’ve visited us before or you’re planning your first trip, our reviews offer a genuine insight into the experience we work hard to create
Great for a day out with children. Can buy food to feed the animals. Indoor animal petting area (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc). Places to sit and eat. Play areas for children. Can buy food in kiosks or bring own food. Farm shop at end. Also tea room across car park once left the farm area.
Went to the animal farm on a cold grey day, but the animals made it bright! Goats are lovely and both my girls loved feeding them, once they had gotten over the icky feeling of goats' tongues on their hands. Farm is nicely laid out, has good collection of animals including sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, peacocks, hens and cows.
The entry to the farm is through the farm shop, and you need to verify your tickets with cash counters (only two), so on a busy day it can be a long wait. The tickets are nicely priced online, and expensive at the shop. Parking is ample, but bays can have fresh marking.

Response from the owner:Hi Sohail, thanks for your lovely review. So glad you enjoyed our animals.
On a busy day we open our entrance chalet aswell to help with the flow of customers.
Lovely variety of animals to see
Fantastic place. Very tranquil, great selection of animals. Staff and volunteers are so friendly. Great place for adults/children for the day out.
Great time out activity with your loved ones. Parking is free and most of the activities included the entrance price like tractor trip and soft play.
Response from the owner:So glad you had a great day Ozman
Calming place to visit. Kids love the close up with animals, the soft play centre and the crazy golf.
Good farm shop. Lots of animals and rides to go on. There is a soft play area in cafe for larger children and a smaller one for babies and toddlers upstairs. There is a dog wash station and a groomers There.
Perfect small farm to visit with our 6 month old. You can get up close to the animals (and it actually felt like a traditional farm instead of a theme park!) We saw a goat being born too which was amazing!
I love alpacas
