About Woodside Animal Farm

Woodside Animal Farm is a family-run business with a history dating back to 1974, when it began as an egg farm and farm shop. In 1994, it developed into the animal farm visitors know today, with indoor soft play introduced in 2006.

Today, there’s plenty to see and do, from meeting our farm animals and reptiles to enjoying tractor and trailer rides, animal demonstrations, the mini funfair, crazy golf and outdoor play areas.

Whatever the weather, our heated indoor soft play centre offers plenty of space for children to play. Our café serves freshly made sandwiches, toasties and paninis, alongside a selection of coffees, cakes and treats. Our gift shop also stocks a range of gifts, toys and pocket-money items.

We sell a range of poultry and poultry feed, alongside a wide selection of animal feeds in our farm shop. You’ll also find locally sourced produce and farm-fresh eggs, with our friendly team on hand to help with any questions.

With over 50 years of history, we’re proud to remain a family-run business, welcoming visitors of all ages to enjoy a great day out at Woodside Animal Farm.

Great place for kids, soft play, animals, playground, some rides including a big toboggan, some food on site as well as coffee and ice cream. Really friendly staff and a nice clean environment. The shop on exit is great too. Parkings easy but slow down as you approach from the main road.
