COVID19 - How will we keep you safe?

  • Please do not visit the farm if you have or have been in close contact with anyone who has a cough, high temperature and/or loss of taste or smell. If you or a member of your family have these symptoms, please follow the government's rules for testing and self-isolation

  • To assist with NHS Track and Trace we will continue to take all bookings online. Walk ins aren't permitted but if tickets are available, they can be booked right up to the time of your visit.

  • Good handwashing has always been key at Woodside. There are hand washing stations around the park with good signage to remind you to wash your hands and how to do it properly. Please wash your hands regularly throughout your visit. Hand sanitiser is no replacement for handwashing, however as many customers like the extra security of hand sanitiser, there are stations in place around the site.

  • As always please remember to avoid touching your face unless you have washed your hands. Where possible avoid bringing children’s toys when you visit. If your child uses a dummy, we recommended they don’t use it during their visit.

  • We will keep screens at our till points to keep you and our team safe. Please use contactless payments where possible.

  • A cleaning ranger will clean and sanitise toilets, wash hands stations and all contact areas at regular intervals. All equipment including, crazy golf and play areas will be sprayed with sanitiser regularly throughout the day.

  • Outdoor picnic tables are available for you to use. These will be regularly cleaned by the ranger throughout the day. Please don’t reposition tables as they are strategically placed to make social distancing easy for you. Please help us to keep each other safe by clearing your table when you leave.

  • We are on hand to assist with any urgent first aid or emergency but please bring your own plasters/wipes/antiseptic cream for anything such as cuts, bumps, bites and grazes.

Hand washing

Hand washing stations are located at short intervals around the park. Antibacterial soap, hot running water and hand towels are provided at each station and using these is the safest, most method for keeping you and your family safe. Please encourage all members of your party to wash their hands thoroughly after any animal contact and especially before eating and drinking, even if no contact with the animals has been made. Antibacterial foams and gels are not recommended and are not effective as a substitute for soap and hot running water.

The whole park is accessible for buggies but please note that for fire safety reasons buggies are not permitted in the PlayBarn. We do have an undercover buggy park, which is a safe dry place to leave your buggy.

Bikes and scooters

For the safety of all staff, customers and animals, bikes and scooters are not permitted in the park. We have our own bikes, trikes and scooters for the children to ride in a specially secured area.

Wheelchair users

The whole park is accessible for wheelchair users with the exception of the upstairs play area. We are happy to provide any assistance possible to wheelchair users so please don’t hesitate to ask. We also have a wheelchair available for hire.

For the safety and comfort of our animals dogs are not permitted into the park. Registered assistance dogs are welcome.

Where to eat

The PlayBarn café offers, sandwiches, toasties, paninis and hot pasties and pies, as well as snacks, ice creams and lunch boxes for the kids. At weekends and during school holidays in the summer season the 'Munch Box' is also open for whippy ice cream, ice cream and lollies, slushies, crisps, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
